back from band camp.

oh dears. 27 more days to SYF O.O
yesterday we listened to the recordings that we played in the school hall and it all sounded like so URGH.

cuz i tink everyone is nervous then started to make silly mistakes.
LIKE ME. i cannot crash the cymbals properly.
the first part of the cymbals cannot hear totally..
as for the bassdrum..no need to say lah..
with the quality of the speaker, and the distance that im at, confirm cannot hear.
and anyways, the snaredrum is so loud =x
can hear everything so vividly.

yesterday my index fingers was so red. and kinda swollen.
maybe not. but they just hurt a lot.
biing yih's ones are even worst..turning almost black =/
why? because of crash cymbals.
is all the same problems i had during the last last camp we had for preparation of Xinfony V.
cuz i was playing crash for almost all the pieces.
so anyways, it's better today le.
at least not red anymore. but is like harden and dry.

okays. i tink i shd start blogging about the camp.

DAY 1
morning met up with cheryl and felicia to go to school together.
then took MRT to AMK. and we took this bus 165
the bell was spoilt i tink. so when ppl press it, it will go...
"DIING DONG DING DONG DIING DOONG! DING DOONG DIING DONG DIING DOONG!!"
very noisy lorhs. sound as if that person pressed the bell continuously for many times.hahas
i just couldn't stop laughing when i hear it.
and when cheryl went, "felicia, why are u so childish? keep playing with the bell?"
then felicia will give that blur look.lols

so erm anyways, i went for lessons first.
kinda boring. and a lot of ppl were late.
cuz they tot lessons starts at 8.30am
but anyways we had break! went out to buy food to eat.
when i start to take out my wallet and want to pay up, i realised i din bring any money to school. GEE
so yingting paid for me first. now i owe her money.
then back for lessons again
after that went to bandroom.
they were playing Sg Rhap if i rmb correctly =/
so i joined in. only for a short while.
and soon it was lunchtime.
pathetic lunch we have got. chicken once again.
then we turned and look at the ncc ppl having food that are so much better than us =(
this got to show how pathetic we are. haha

then mr sharma was saying ncc and band are the same..
the food are equally good..blahblahblah. haha...yeah right, my foot =x
they got like buffet style and ours are like in 2-3 metal trays only. GEE
so xian mu those ncc peeps.
plus, we dun even have drink.
so we went out to buy.
we as in hoiting baozhen manshan and me.
cuz we were really thirsty.

i was like can meh?
but anyways, we just went lo.
then after that i realised i dun have money again.
if i rmb that i din bring any money i wont buy any drinks.
cuz i dun like to owe ppl money.
but i already had the cup of slurpee in my hands.
so no choice. i owe baozhen money too.
i feel so bad

then nxt.
back to school. and then bandroom.
had band practice with the woodwinds.
the brass having tutorials outside i tink.
hmm. nothing significant i could rmb.
oh yeahs. yeling could not play her semi-quavers properly.
so mr tan was pointing to her mistakes.
then during combined band, mr lim came.

cuz at first, the time slot was supposed to be sectionls/tutorials.
but suddenly change. then mr lim din noe.
so we end up no tutorials.
he came and listen to us.
as in listening to the whole band.
but he told yiangshan she owe him 2 cups of drinks. lol
then she was cursing away..hahaha..
anyways, we got our tuner cum metronome.YEAHS! ^^

okay..then when the band was abt to end, carol and yeling were like...
faster keep! then can chiong to bathe. DORTX
typical carol and yeling. they were like making so much noise =/
not as if they wont get to bathe later. dortx.
then end up jiao huai manshan, haiyo...

so during the period of waiting to bathe.
some ppl went crazy..HAHA
and they are grace and peggy!
they were like singing so crazily. i was LOL-ing away with yanling and emmaline..

after bathing, baozhen and i got nth to do.
so we were like, let's go walk around. then we walked one round then back to bandroom again. LOL
look so stupid. haha
then hoiting wanted to do her hw. so i accompany her lo. haha
so good right? HmpH ><

(argh.im tired after typing so much.lol)

this time 6 of us went out. yeling, carol, hoiting, jasmine, cheryl and me
they want to buy drink. so i just accompany them lo. haha
coz i no money, so i din buy.
and then went back.
and ate our dinner.
chicken yet again.hMm..

after dinner, band practice again.
this time, we sightread a lot of pieces.
one of them was 7th night of july.

but we din play cuz a lot of parts missing :(
and anyways, we sounded so crappy.haha.
i duno how to sight read scores. always get lost easily.
so i was basically doing nothing much =/
only played some easy parts.haha

and finally, sg rhap and emperata.
i still tink i can't play the cymbals properly. SIGH
after that we went to our dorms. then the rest went to watch movie.
while the 4E5N went to do hw in the aesthetics rm.
i dun really have any hw larhs.
so i was just hanging around and reading wadever i can find in my file. hahaha.
until 12am.
then went up to 1E6 where they are watching the movie.
catch the ending of the show. haha. kind of disgusting lah. lol
den they ask us to proceed to the bandroom =/
we shdn't have gone up. went up and down. haha

anyways, mr tan talked to us.
i was amazed that i wasn't feeling sleepy at all.
most probably im used to staying up late. haha
he was talking about a lot of stuff.
made me so worried. we got less than one month left!
and anyways, all other aesthetic grps are also telling me that they are not too sure if they can get gold onot.
i duno if it is real. but haix, band have to really work hard in this period of time that we are left with.
anyways, im bringing home the cymbals on friday.

ermms.im still at day 1. hahaha
okok. that's all. we went to sleep after that.

DAY 2
nxt morning. got woken up at 7.15am.
actually wanted to wake up at 7.30am de. lols
but since i was woken up, i stopped sleeping and went to wash up and get changed.

then went for lessons without breakfast. haix.
i was so hungry lo. all i could do was to drink water.
and finally there's break.
went to check if there's any food left in the canteen.but NO!
so i have got no choice but to borrow money from ppl again.
i ended up owing baozhen, yingting and yiling money =x

after lesson, back to bandroom.
perc was doing strokings.
just as when i wanted to take sticks in the bandstore, i heard mr tan saying 'Sg Rhap' or izzit 'Emperata' ?
i can't remember!
okok, i tink it is emperata overture. haha
we sight read some pieces too. for xinfony VI.hehe
looking forward to it =)

after which was lunch. chicken AGAINS. urgh
then we had tutorials.
ermms. then i can't rmb wad we did. haha
then we shifted instruments to the hall.
and went to eat our pizzas for tea ^^
nxt went back to hall to have our rehearsals and had the recordings which sounded so bad...

and finally break camp after shifting everything back, taking our stuffs, and ermm...debrief.

i asked my dad to fetch me.
he brought me to his shop so that later can go home together.
but guess wad? the shutter was spoilt! stuck! cannot close!
GOSH! so got delayed until so late when my dad actually tot he could go home earlier.
before that i was walking to and fro in his shop. lol
for one hour plus. BORED

got home at about 9pm
and ate my dinner so late. haha
but actually i wasn't hungry. thanks to the pizza. haha
i felt my whole body aching. even now.
so tired all over after standing so long for band practices.

and my butt hurts because..i duno why
maybe i stand too long?

oh well. got to run for tuition
that's why im blogging in a rush. hahahas
