i have so much to update.

have been going back to VCH for the past 3 days.
first day as audience.
second day as performer.
third day as helper

and many many things had happened.
first day there was nothing much actually.
met up with a few 4e2 people at raffles city's BK
then we headed to VCH

we went to the circle seats.
and sat at the very back.
and mr rodrigues was at work behind us!
lol =)
and we saw mrs song too.

the performance was overall okay lah.
chinese dance i enjoyed quite a bit.
guzheng, truthfully speaking i was quite bored, especially the beginning part.
anyway, it's not their fault.
cuz we sat at the back, so the volume was quite soft.
so i could not enjoy totally.
and i just felt that percussion wasn't blended in well.

BUT!
it was different when i heard it at stall seatings on the third day during the rehearsal.
so i guess it was the position.
it was so much better.
i can feel the impact (:

second day, which was wednesday.
in the morning i met up with yuwen to go for health checkup.
then she was late for like 15-20mins?

by the time we reach the place it was about 1oplus.
then the person told us to come back at 2pm.
i was like 2pm?! i cannot make it.
then she passed back the form to me.
BAHH!
waste my trip man.

so i accompanied yuwen to walk around.
then yuwen said she wants to pluck her eyebrows.
so we went to red earth.

then erm. we keep entering all sorts of shops.
many of which are brands that i had nvr seen before ><

and we also went to eat at toastbox!
so nice~ yumyum!
we ate slowly to allow time to pass.
then we chatted a while before we left for lunch

we took a VERY LONG time to walk there.
i din look at the time though.
cuz the more i look, the slower it will pass.
we was suppose to head to KFC.
but on the way, we kept entering shops.
haha~

then after the KFC meal, we were darn bloated -.-
then we went to washroom.
and that was when the stupid button on my shirt dropped off!
it's so lousy lah!
buttons not sewn properly!
by the way the shirt was new.
then i was so worried that another would drop.

yepp.
after that we went back to the clinic.
it was closed for lunch
but we still went in to sit down.
then the person there ask us to wait outside -.-
so we went to walk agn.
but i left at 1.30pm to meet jas at raffles place.

we reached damn early lah.
lol. band and choir were having rehearsal for their comb performance then.
and the others who were offstage were like looking at us.
so embarrassing ><

then jas told me carol is arriving.
so we left to meet her.
but we saw her with leon on the way.
lol.
then we saw someone!
wang tian cai and a lady was filming a scene along the singapore river!
woots!
wanted to take pictures.
but i think we were making too much noise that the mediacorp people turned and look at us =X
he's so shuai! whee~ =)

then when we were back at VCH,
and had a real short rehearsal which started way off late.
after that, watched choir rehearsing their Aladdin musical.
quite interesting.
but the expression of the people were quite weird
haha nvm (:

then i asked carol if she wants to go and change.
so we went.
after we enter the cubicles, i heard carol screaming away.
i was wondering wad happened.
then she said she din bring her clothes!
OH NO!

then we quickly took a taxi back to her hse.
and unfortunately, IT RAINED!
very heavily summore.
and the taxi fare was expensive

the taxi trip we took back to VCH was funnier.
cuz of the funny taxi driver.
it was still drizzling then.
carol cldn't find any foldable umbrellas at home.
so we used newspaper instead.

then it was lucky of us to get a taxi real fast.
we waved frantically!
then the taxi stopped!
yay!
hahaa

then the taxi driver sort of keep us entertained throughout the journey.

it was still quite early when we reach VCH.
like 6.30pm.
PHEW!
luckily we went to change early.
if not we have to rush like mad.
hahaa

then after that we went to change.
and had our dinner.

and waited for time to pass...
then at the backstage, i saw stephanie getting so worried cuz she couldn't find the paperbag with all the scores inside.
so the few of us there was looking for it but it was no where to be found.
but luckily, ruifang and liuyin found it outside.
phew~

then it was carol's turn.
she couldn't find her score!
and the band was already performing.
then we got so worried agn and it was actually in manshan's file already.

it was finally x-winds turn to perform.
our performance was quite bad i think
cuz a lot of mistakes here and there.
but overall, i guess it was fine (:

shall move on to the third day.
i reached VCH at about 12.30pm.
and my timing was perfect (:
cuz i saw the buses coming in and the lorry has already reached.
so i helped to shift some of the instruments.
by the time band reached, most of the intruments were already shifted.
haha.

then after shifting all the intruments up, i went to the seats and watched the rehearsals.
and i sort of pity the emcees.
walk in and out. and get scoldings, etc.
the teachers just want the best of them to be put up during the concert.

but because of this concert, there was one student that got 4 stitches on the head
and there was one girl that fell off from the stairs at the backstage and got stuck in a pathetic position.
then percussion instruments got damaged.
and some others that i do not know.

OH WELL

moral of the story: pls do not have kaleidoscope anymore.
at least not at VCH anymore.

but most importantly, pls allow Xinfony to continue..
WE WANT MANY MORE XINFONIES!

okok.
anyway, i din regret going back to help.
because i love my juniors (:
i had pretty much fun to 'reunite' with them.
hahaha

it's great to see how they have grown through the years.
ahh~ im getting old =X

then while we were waiting in THE TERRACE, took some pictures (:
which i will upload soon, i hope.

then on friday, i had very bad muscle aches.
that got to show how long i have not been shifting instruments.
percussion keeps me strong and fit! hahaa ><

now all the tough muscles i used to had has turned into fats~
EWW. lol

missing the section so much lah

shan't get too emotional.
