im in great pain now..

my ulcer is hurting so badly that i cannot talk properly..
and guess wad? yest i fell and i got a bruise on my knee now.
it is rather stupid. cuz last night cheryl's dad fetch us home..
then i alighted at the taxi stand but there was construction going on, blocking my way
thus, i decided to go under the railing..
when i was about to stood up, my back hit the railing and my right knee hit the ground..
not quite serious, but it hurts too..

pain pain pain!

okayes.anyways, im here to update about band camp and exchange!

DAY 1
that day when i woke up my bones cracked once i moved because of the cleaning the day before..and my hand hurts lots..
hmm..anyhow, reached bandroom and most the ppl were there already..
however, quite a number were late too..
while waiting for the latecomers, we sat in our groups. my group was quite pathetic..only got 6 members. siew yuen, peggy, stefanie, xiuyu, henry and me..

we were supposed to discussed about the group name and group cheer..our group name was batoon..
lolz..then peggy was going we are the ba gua...etc
kept on repeating the same few sentences..
we end up not coming out with any cheer when time was up..
after that we proceeded to the parade sq to play games..
hMm..my group din win any of the games.. =(
but later we went to the fitness corner area there..
we need to cheer!!! den my grp was like OH NO!
but luckily we tot of sthg all of the sudden..and we got second! gEez.. so happy! lolz

after that had band prac, sectionals..
emperata overture, emperata overture and still emperata overture..lolz
yepps. percussion sectionals we were like playing same few rhythms over and over..i tink i can memorise everthing already.. (:

anyways, when i was rehearsal for sg rhapsody, we were being volunteered to get the dinner...
at that time, woodwinds was having a really sound, then honghui din want to leave..but he had to lead us the way..
yeah, it was quite funny..
honghui is really polluted okayes.
he was saying he is a horn player, thus he is horny..oh well
and then he almost stepped onto dog shit twice! LOL
finally brought the dinner to the canteen and then went to bandroom..

hmm..after dinner and bathing, i went to band room
the alumni was playing american riversong..very pro..
the sound was damn good..

den we had sectionals AGAIN on emperata overture
is like we play here play there still the same..lolz
but when we were playing together, i kinda enjoy it although im getting quite sick playing the same few rhythms =X
while we having sectionals..we took some breaks..
then mr tan ph came in..
he told us stories...abt his past experience

then suddenly zhixiang came in and say mr choo looking for mr tan.. so he stopped his stories le..

soon after, everyone was back for full band
and then that day was sg idol showdown.
while band rehearsal after dinner was going on, most of us received news abt taufik is the sg idol..YAY! X)
and then lights out!
the slping part i can skip bahhs..
carol and siew yuen keep going, 'shui hai mei you shui!'

DAY 2
woke up in the morning and we had PT
it was FUN! but very tiring
the rugby warm-up almost made me dead..hahaha
all of us was like rolling arnd, cleaning the parade sq for the school with our shirt hur? lolz
then had a Boys VS Girls competition on foot drills, suggested by mr brando tan..
in the end both sucked.lol
so boys arent really better than girls xP

after that ate breakfast..
and proceeded with sectionals etc.
we had tutorials in the afternoon.
hmm..realised i had been playing a part wrongly..
took quite long to change..sometimes i still play it wrongly..
anyways, that day had BBQ..
quite fun. got my butt white cuz the ground was very 'clean' hahaha
after much bbq-ing, went to bandrm, and i saw sharon playing the piano..very pro!
her fingers were like running so damn fast..im totally impressed

after sometime carol, baozhen and me went to bathe..
there were not many were there, just nice 6 cubicles for us plus yiangshan, val and corina...
we took our own sweet time to bathe (:
when we are done bathing, went to bandroom and played cards with manshan and her gang. lolz..the sec 1s.. they are fun..hehe.
we played cheat..and i kept getting a thick deck of cards..
and then we also decided to sleep together...
but while we were lying there, daniel were called to tell his ghost stories about xinmin..
so we listen and listen until quite late..
in the midst, kahsiang started his lame jokes..
and he scared off carol with his so called 'ghost story' =X
we finally turn in at arn 2am
and we din expect this to happen......

DAY 3
i was sleeping soundly..all of the sudden i heard "FIRE! FIRE!" the time was a few minutes before 6am.
okayes..that was a fire drill.
all of us still half asleep, quickly procreeded to the parade square
then ltr we did some drills..kinda amazing..cuz we stamped our feet together although we are like half asleep..haha
then we were asked to washed up, then assemble in the parade square again for drills..
we were late by 2mins.. thus, we did push-ups.
we were reciting students' creed in push up position.
i really cannot take it. kept putting my knees down..

the drills went on like quite long..until abt 8am it tink..and then we had reheasals at the parade square!
at first was ok..but after sometime..the scorching sun was burning the perc section..den they shifted in..and in again..but perc, bouble bass, tuba, euph are still under the sun..
and summore i din bring out my water bottle..
i was so dehydrated by then..
but never the less, emperata overture rocks! =)

and finally,it's time for packing..
and the results etc...
missed out the cheering prize giving part..
cuz i went home le.. =X
anyways, my group got THIRD! hooray!
lolz.. not bad le lor.. ;)

although this band camp is like practising most of the time..but i still enjoy it. really glad that the band is improving..im now looking towards band pracs even more than before.. (:

but im getting phobia of chickens!
ok. tues i ate chicken rice, band camp was like everyday, almost all the meals we had chicken.
and then when i go back home for lunch on fri, i ate chicken rice again..
and yest, i ate chicken again..
today, i ate terrayaki chicken at yoshi and dinner, my mum cooked chicken rice again!!!
im not going the eat chicken for ONE WEEK!!!
lolz..

okok..this entry is really long..
i shall go straight to the point.
yest the exchange was cool
the QYO was very pro..
they can sight read and play so well....really impressed.
first we went there, and ltr went for lunch at nearby hawker centre..
then we had sectionals..hmm..i tot we suppose to have sectionals for sg rhapsody, but end up they teach us some tips on playing the various instruments..
then we played sg phapsody by clapping cuz there were not enough instruments for us to play..
i was playing conga as a bassdrum -___-'''

den finally we got the instruments and played emperata overture..
then the qyo person gave us mentos! LOL
yeah, then it was the exchange...
QYO is simply too pro..

after that we went for dinner.
mr tan treated uS! that's baozhen carol yiangshan and me! lolz..
he's so nice.. haix.. really sad that he'll not be with us nxt year anymore..

hMm..then when we go back to st.andrew's, we went to the classroom where our instruments were..
there was honghui and shaphen blasting away..
and then carol and yiangshan was playing the snare so loudly..simply just whacking away..lolz.
i was almost deafened by them..
and zhixiang was also there playing the tuba..
too bad i dun have a bass drum with me..is i just watched them play..
then it was time for the concert by QYO!
very nice..but i was having a headache..
thus i cldnt really concentrate much..

im going to the concert on 14 dec.. (:

anyways..yarhs..that's when i got home and fell on my knee..i still hurts when i straighten my leg..
haix..
